There are some very specific signs of a termite infestation. This includes:
Droppings
Termite droppings typically look like tiny, rigid wood-colored pellets.
Mud Tubes
Termite mud tubes are very distinct. They are typically on the exterior of the surface and provide protection for termites.
Winged Swarmers
Usually, their wings are all the same size and look like slender fish scales. These are usually the first sign of a termite problem. Swarming termites, or swarmers, are attracted to light and often found near light fixtures
Hollowed-Out Wood
Tapping wood along the walls, baseboards, and windowsills with a screwdriver will sound hollow. If the area is extremely damaged, you may break through it and see termite workers inside.

Termites can cost a homeowner up to $10,000 in damage.

No. However, they can squeeze through a crack in concrete foundations only 1/32nd of an inch.
You will see a noticeable reduction in pest activity within one to two days. Depending on the pest and the choice of materials necessary to give the best long-term results, it is not unusual to notice a gradual reduction up to 14 days. If you notice pest activity after 14 days, please contact our office to set up a free follow-up service.
In most situations, it will not be necessary to leave your home. If it becomes necessary for you to be out of your home during a treatment, this will be arranged in advance for your convenience.
No. We have set up a protective barrier around your home. Typically we are reinforcing that barrier and looking around the home for potential vulnerabilities. However, we are happy to treat inside.
Just like you, we love our pets too. So we please ask that you keep them inside when we visit.
And don't worry, our treatments are not harmful to pets.
The obvious signs of an infestation would be the insects themselves, but sometimes their evidence is more subtle, like insect wastes or damage to a cardboard box.
When the signs of an infestation aren’t obvious, accurate inspection and identification requires an experienced pest management professional. Once the inspection is complete, pests have been identified and the infestation severity determined, our pest pros will design a customized pest control plan around your specific need.
